LNMU UG Registration 2025-29 – Apply Online Overview

Important Dates  Here are the important dates for registering for the 1st semester of the 2025-29 UG session: Registration Start: 7 November 2025. Last Date for Online Registration: 21 November 2025 (with updates indicating till 05 December 2025 for submission of copies to colleges).

Eligibility  The eligibility criteria for the UG registration in 2025-29 are straightforward: Students must have passed the 10+2 (intermediate) examination in any stream (Arts, Science, Commerce) or its equivalent. Applicants must be seeking admission in the first semester of B.A., B.Sc., or B.Com (Honours/Regular) in one of the constituent or affiliated colleges of LNMU .

Required documents  Although the entire process is online, students must ensure the following documents are ready for verification/submission to the college: Printout of the Online Registration Form (filled and submitted) Intermediate (10+2) mark sheet / certificate (self-attested copy) College admission slip for the 1st semester (issued by the college) Passport size photograph (if required by the college) Identity proof (Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / Other) Caste certificate / EWS certificate if applicable Any other document specified by the college for specific streams (e.g., prior subject transcripts)

 

Registration Process – Step by Step

Here’s how the registration process works for eligible students:

1. Visit the official LNMU registration portal on the university website once the registration link goes live.

2. Login using your Unique Form ID/Application ID and the registered mobile number.

3. Carefully check all pre-filled details on the registration form: name, course, subject choice, college, category, etc.

4. Make the registration fee payment of ₹600 online (via net banking, UPI, debit/credit card, depending on the portal’s mode).

5. After successful submission, download and print two copies of the registration form. One copy is to be retained by the student and the other submitted to the college before the deadline announced.
6. For any errors (except major subject/honours choice) corrections can be done online through the portal within the window specified by the university. After the portal closes no further changes will be accepted.

Subject Choices, Corrections & College Dashboard

A few additional points to keep in mind:

• Students must select their Major subject (Honours) as per availability of seats and their interest. Once submitted this major subject typically cannot be changed online.

• Minor, Multidisciplinary, Interdisciplinary (MDC/IDC), MIL and SEC/VAC subjects must be filled correctly. If these are missing or incorrect in the Common Application Form (CAF), the affiliated college principal will update them on the college dashboard after obtaining the candidate’s consent.
• Colleges will update the admission dashboard after registration. Students should follow up with their college to ensure their registration status is correctly reflected. Portal closure after deadline means no further changes.

• Make sure you meet eligibility and have passed your +2 exams with all required subjects.

• Do not wait for the last minute: login early, verify your details, pay fee and download the registration form promptly.

• While filling the registration, double-check subject combinations, honours choice and college preference: mistakes may not be rectifiable later.

• Keep your mobile number, email ID and login credentials safe for follow-up.

• After submission, print both copies of registration and submit to your college well ahead of the deadline.
