Eligibility  For Science Subjects Candidates applying under the Science stream must fulfill any one of the following criteria: Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with Mathematics, Physics, and English, securing at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English, OR Completed a 3-year Engineering Diploma in relevant disciplines with minimum 50% marks overall and 50% in English, OR Passed a 2-year vocational course with Physics and Mathematics (non-vocational subjects) from a recognized board with 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English. For Other Than Science Subjects Candidates applying under the non-science category must meet any one of the following conditions: Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) in any stream with 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English, OR Completed a 2-year vocational course with minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English. Pay Scale – Airforce Agniveer Vayu

Under the Agnipath Scheme, selected candidates will receive the following pay structure:

After completing four years, Agniveers will receive a Seva Nidhi Package of approximately ₹10.04 lakh, with a total corpus contribution of ₹5.02 lakh.

 

Medical Standards & Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

Minimum Height Requirements

• Male: 152.5 cm

• Female: 152 cm

• North East / Hilly Areas: 147 cm

• Lakshadweep: 150 cm

Chest Measurement (For Male Candidates)

• Minimum Chest: 77 cm

• Chest Expansion: Minimum 5 cm

Weight

• Weight should be proportionate to height and age as per Airforce medical standards.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT) Details

Running

• Male: 1.6 km in 7 minutes

• Female: 1.6 km in 8 minutes

Strength Exercises

For Male Candidates

• 10 Push-ups – 1 minute

• 10 Sit-ups – 1 minute

• 20 Squats – 1 minute

For Female Candidates

• 10 Sit-ups – 1.30 minutes

• 15 Squats – 1 minute
